Rauhalahti activities

In Rauhalahti Resort there are a tennis, squash and padel centre, a riding stable and bowling center with minigolf.
The skiing tracks start direct from the hotel. Here you can find all skiing tracks in Kuopio: Kuopio skiing tracks.

In summer times there are nice beach, beach volley areas, minigolf, summer theatre performances (Finnish) and animal park (domestic animals) available. In the Rauhalahti hotel yard there is a station for Vilkku City eBikes. Vilkku bikes are rented primarily using the Freebike mobile application. Read more here.

Katiskaniemi Nature Trail starts behind the Rauhalahti Spa Hotel. The trail is mostly located in a nature reserve. The most valuable parts of the Katiskaniemi Nature Reserve are hardwoods and handsome rock pine forests. There is also a flying squirrel on the beach's old wounds and gray lichens. Nature conservation work has been carried out in the protected area between 1999 and 2003 by, among other things, removing spruce from deciduous leaves and adding decaying wood by various methods.

A couple of kilometers (2,5 km) of nature trails follow the beaches of Katiskaniemi. Along the way, you will see the groves and their flora and fauna. Plants and animals on the beach and in the water will also become familiar with the path. The traces of the human hand are represented by the old smokehouse, the Jätkänkämppä, and the grazed traditional landscapes.

Some hundread metres from Spa Hotel Rauhalahti, there is Rauhalahti Holiday Centre, which is a five-star Holiday Centre. Rauhalahti Holiday Centre offers all-year-round holiday villas, summer cottages, electrified caravan places and extensive camping area.
Rauhalahti Holiday Centre has also sauna for rent: Kallavesi-Sauna (max 9 persons) is modern all-year-round sauna with heated outdoor hut tub for 8 people. Near the Kallavesi sauna there is a large NUOTTA  Hut for about 25 people with the view to the lake in all directions (fireplace, seats, shelter).
