Spa Hotel Rauhalahti is the official partner of the WOC2025 World Orienteering Championships. Rauhalahti offers comfortable accommodation, delicious and healthy meals, nice environment by the Lake Kallavesi and in the lap of a nature reserve.
Location
Rauhalahti is situated 5 km south from the Kuopio city center, on Lake Kallavesi. There is a direct bus connection from the hotel yard to the market place. Is is 23 km from Kuopio Airport and 6 km from Kuopio railway station.

Orienteering competition arenas are easily accessible from Rauhalahti. The competition arena for the first race is located in the town center of Nilsiä, 60 km from Rauhalahti.
The 2nd and 3rd races will be held in the village of Tahko, 66 km from Rauhalahti. The 4th and the final 5th races will be held in the city of Kuopio, in Neulamäki, about 6,5 km from Rauhalahti.

Rooms, apartments and studios
Spa Hotel Rauhalahti (main hotel) has totally 106 hotel rooms. The Spa Hotel is the centre for everything! The hotel building houses the spa pool section, treatment department, gym and restaurants. The rooms are on four floors and the rooms heading to the forest have a balcony and cooling system (on request). Spa Hotel has a large parking place. Read more here.
Rauhalahti Apartment Hotel is located 100 metres from the main hotel building. It is a short way to walk to the main hotel. Apartments are ideal for small groups but also for couples. You can choose either a smaller apartment (32 sqm, some with own sauna) or a spacious superior (67 sqm). The Apartment Hotel has a car-park with plug-in points for engine heaters. Read more here.
Studio Hotel consists of 5 buildings (row houses) and each building has tree studio-rooms (32 sqm). The studios sleep 1- 4 persons (+one sofa bed). Studios have their own entrance, terrace and cooling system. Read more here.
All capacities in Rauhalahti are non-smoking, smoking is allowed only in designated courtyards with ashtrays.
