The Rauhalahti leisure area is well signposted both from Highway 5 and from Kuopio city centre. If you are arriving from the south, you will see the Rauhalahti signs about six kilometres before Kuopio centre. Spa Hotel Rauhalahti is located about five kilometres south of the city centre, on the right-hand side when approaching from the south. On the opposite side of the road you will find the Kolmisoppi shopping centre / Citymarket.

The distance from Kuopio Airport to Spa Hotel Rauhalahti is 23 kilometres, and from the railway and bus stations about six kilometres. The easiest way from the airport, as well as from the railway and bus stations, is by taxi. You can order a taxi, for example, by calling 0200 11101 or 0100 0700.

From Kuopio city centre (the Market Square) you can reach Spa Hotel Rauhalahti directly by local bus number 7. The final stop is in the hotel yard. Timetables can be checked via this link.

Driving instructions from Highway 5 to Rauhalahti

Take the exit ramp signposted Jynkkä–Levänen (junction number 67). If coming from the south, turn right at the traffic lights, and if coming from the north, turn left onto Rauhalahdentie. Continue straight for about 500 metres, passing through the traffic lights and Shell Levänen on your left. Then turn left onto Kartanonkatu. After about 900 metres, turn right onto Katiskaniementie. Drive another 400 metres and you will arrive at the hotel yard. The road curves gently to the right past the Tennis Centre and Tennis Forum (indoor hall), while the Särkilahti residential area remains on your left.

From Tampere it is about 300 kilometres: by car 3 hours 45 minutes, by train 3 hours 45 minutes, and by plane 3.5 hours.
From Turku it is about 450 kilometres: by car 5.5 hours and by train 5.5 hours.
From Vaasa it is about 380 kilometres: by car 4 hours 35 minutes and by train 7 hours.
From Oulu it is about 290 kilometres: by car 3 hours 45 minutes and by train 5 hours.
